🧠 Neuro residents in PGH are exposed to a wide variety of diagnostics and treatment modalities, necessary for managing Neuro patients (ie CT Scan, MRI, 4 Vessel Angiography, Routine and Video EEG, EMG-NCV, Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound, Intraoperative Monitoring, High Frequency Ultrasound, Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery).

🧠 Neuro residents in PGH rotate on different subspecialties starting 2nd year (Epilepsy and EEG, EMG and Neuromuscular Diseases, Stroke and Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical Care, Neurorehabilitation, Neuroradiology, Neuropathology, Psychiatry, Pediatric Neurology)

🧠 PGH is also the only public hospital in the Philippines who has multiple neuro subspecialty clinics on top of the General Neurology OPD Clinic (ie Headache Clinic, Epilepsy Clinic, Movement Disorders Clinic, Neuro-oncology Clinic, Pituitary Diseases Clinic, Stroke Clinic, Dementia Clinic and Myasthenia Gravis Clinic). These clinics are being manned by the Neuro residents, under the supervision of the Neuro consultants.
